Transport Options

You can travel to and from Gardens Point campus using bus, trains or taxis, river ferry or the CityCat. For all timetable information, phone Transinfo 131 230 or visit www.transinfo.qld.gov.au

There is a taxi drop-off point and parking for people with disabilities in Gardens Point Road, behind the Gardens Theatre building.

Car Parking

Parking on campus is very limited during business hours and university semester.

Subject to availability, the Short-term Car Park under the freeway at QUT Gardens Point Campus, off Gardens Point Road, is open 24-hours, seven days a week. Simply purchase a ticket from one of the ticket machines located in the parking area, and display it on the dashboard of your vehicle.

Alternatively, convenient parking is available at Wilson or Secure Parking on Margaret Street, or park at South Bank and enjoy a stroll over the Goodwill Bridge. Bus and Coach parking is available in William Street with a drop-off zone at the George Street entrance to QUT. From here, Old Government House is just a short walk down the Main Drive through the QUT campus.
