Sunday Concert: The Queensland Irish Association Pipe Band

Join us on Lady Bowen Lawn for a concert performed by the oldest Irish Pipe Band in Australia and one of the oldest bands in Queensland, the Queensland Irish Association Pipe Band. Evolving under different names and associations, the band was formally established in 1898 and has cultivated many talented musicians who have gone on to compete at the highest levels internationally. Together with the Association's Irish Dancers, the Band continues to promote Celtic culture and music within and beyond Queensland.

High Tea at The Pantry
Newly opened in the Old Government House courtyard, The Pantry café is offering High Tea to complement your Sunday Concert. Enjoy The Pantry's special take on this elegant tradition with a menu of three-tiered delights including sweet and savoury bites. For the little lords and ladies, The Pantry has a scrumptious kids' menu including fairy bread, marshmallows, fruit and chocolate fondue.
Bookings are essential. The Pantry café will also be operating as usual for over-the-counter orders.
