Sunday Concert: Mandolins of Brisbane

Let the magic of a mandolin orchestra fill the air as Old Government House welcomes autumn with a Sunday morning concert performed by Mandolins in Brisbane. Be inspired by an elegant morning concert of Asian-inspired music featuring talented players of mandolins, mandolas, guitars and double bass.

Queensland's foremost mandolin and guitar ensemble comprises two orchestras; the Brisbane Mandolin Orchestra (BMO) conducted by Joel Woods and the Queensland Mandolin Orchestra (QMO) conducted by Nathan Aspinall.

High Tea at The Pantry

Newly opened in the Old Government House courtyard, The Pantry café is offering High Tea to complement your Sunday Concert. Enjoy The Pantry's special take on this elegant tradition with a menu of three-tiered delights including sweet and savoury bites. For the little lords and ladies, The Pantry has a scrumptious kids' menu including fairy bread, marshmallows, fruit and chocolate fondue.

Bookings are essential. The Pantry café will also be operating as usual for over-the-counter orders.
