A Musical Morning of Distinction at Old Government House
Image © Queensland Wind Orchestra
Come along and hear the beautiful music of the Queensland Wind Orchestra performing in the elegant surrounds of Queensland's first vice-regal residence.
In the turmoil of the First World War, music played a vital role in morale-raising and commemoration. Queensland Wind Orchestra will perform band classics composed in the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Composers such as Sousa, Holst and Grainger will feature.
Withdraw afterwards to the courtyard café and enjoy morning tea or wander through the House!
