Join us for a special Sunday series of events as part of the National Trust Heritage Festival. Starting with Resonance Artist talk and Reading and followed by a magical concert from the Brisbane Baroque Players.

Resonance artist Mandana Mapar will be joined by guest poets Simon Kindt and India Nicholls to perform an original poetic dialogue using excerpts from the letters of May and Wallace (Lady and Lord Lamington).

The reading will be followed in the Hall by a magnificent concert of Baroque Chamber Music for Strings, Brass and Woodwind performed by the musicians from the Brisbane Baroque Players on Period Instruments. The Brisbane Baroque Players are an ensemble of professional and amateur musicians dedicated to the performance and exploration of music of the baroque era. Their aim to inject new energy into this repertoire, and overturn stones that have not been touched for hundreds of years.
