Sunday Concert: Queensland Wind Orchestra

Old Government House opens its doors to the sounds of Australia's champion concert band, Queensland Wind Orchestra, for a morning concert featuring classics from Sousa, Vaughan Williams and Grainger.

The QWO was conceived in 2004 as an initiative of young musicians who sought to contribute to Queensland's cultural community and find an outlet for their abilities. Now in its 10th year (including two years as National Champions), the QWO continues to perform an annual concert series comprising an exciting range of repertoire with some of the state's finest conductors.
