William Robinson in conversation with John McDonald

Join William Robinson and John McDonald, art critic for the Sydney Morning Herald, as they discuss William Robinson: A painter's journey, a new major documentary tracing the life and career of the esteemed artist.

The compelling documentary explores the places that have inspired William Robinson—from his early farmyard paintings to the majestic Creation Landscape series and, most recently, the quiet still life paintings drawn from the intimate surrounds of his Brisbane house and garden.

Robinson and McDonald also reflect on a new exhibition, William Robinson: the farmyards, which explores the early part of the artist's career.

William Robinson: A painter's journey co-produced by Queensland University of Technology and Catherine Hunter Productions is available to purchase for $25 from the William Robinson Gallery.
