Brisbane Open House 2025
Brisbane Open House is a free public festival that celebrates Brisbane's architecture and offers behind-the-scenes entry to over 90 buildings, structures, places and spaces across Greater Brisbane. Returning in 2025 with their biggest program in 5 years Brisbane Open House will showcase heritage landmarks, cutting edge design and grant access to rarely seen private residences across the city.
Old Government House will return to the program in 2025 and open its colonial doors to the Brisbane public on Sunday 20 July for Brisbane Open House. Come and explore Queensland's first public building, the home and official state office for Governor Bowen, Queensland's first governor and an iconic Brisbane landmark.
Guided tours are available at 10:15AM, 11:30AM, and 12:30PM on the day. Visitors can also self-guide throughout our opening hours of 10AM to 2PM.
